Why to use a reflector?
A pedestrian who is wearing a reflector can be spotted from up to seven times further away than a pedestrian who isn’t wearing one. Unlike flashing LED lights, a reflector indicates to the driver that they are looking at a pedestrian or a cyclist.
Reflector is a genuine Finnish safety product that can save lives. Keep yourself and others safe with a reflector.
How do I attach my reflector correctly?
Attach the reflector prominently to your bag or clothing so that it can swing freely. The more reflectors you wear the better the car drivers can see you.
What is CIL?
CIL stands for the Coefficient of Luminous Intensity. According to CE standard EN 13356, the minimum requirement for reflective value is 400 CIL. The higher the number, the more reflective the reflector. Our reflectors’ CIL values are given in our products' descriptions. All of our reflectors have CIL values that are far in excess of the threshold value.
What is CE-certification?
CE stands for European Conformity. A product in one of the controlled products categories can not be sold legally in Europe unless it has passed the tests to receive the CE marking.
The requirements for pedestrian reflectors are stated in the EU personal safety directive. All our reflectors are CE-certified according to the EN13356 standard.
How often should I renew my reflector?
Time, use, and seasonal change all wear the surface of the reflector, and its reflectivity will gradually decrease. That’s why you should replace your reflector every couple of years. The reflector might still reflect, but not necessarily enough.
A scratched or worn reflector should therefore be replaced. If moisture gets in to the reflector, it can damage the reflective film, which will significantly weaken the reflectivity of the reflector.
Where are your reflectors made in?
All reflectors are made in Finland by a Finnish family-owned company Saintex.
Can I recycle my reflector?
Recycle used reflectors with mixed waste. Sort the plastic packaging into your plastic recycling and dispose of the instructions along with paper or cardboard recycling. Take the metal parts to a metal recycling point.

You'll receive a tracking number with shipping confirmation email. If the tracking doesn’t show any updates or is blank, there may be a delay with the update of your tracking – don’t worry, it’ll update soon! Please allow until the estimated delivery date for your order to be delivered.
Can I cancel my order?
If you've already placed an order and want to cancel it, contact customerservice@finflect.com.
If your order hasn't been processed, we will be able to cancel it and offer you a refund. If the order has been processed, wait until your item has arrived. You can then request a refund and then send it back to us.

Do you accept returns?
Yes. We have a 28-day return policy, which means you have 28 days after receiving your item to request a return.
How can I return an item?
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. If you're returning the goods because you no longer want them, it's up to you to pay for the return postage.

How long does it take to process a return?
We aim to process returns within 3 working days after receiving the item. However, depending on your bank's processing time, it may take anywhere from 5-10 working days to show up on your bank account.
I received wrong/broken item
Contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
